My name is Carolina Lomelí. I am a dynamic community builder and the creator of Turista Local, a platform that gathers and curates travel insights from local experts.

Before I became an entrepreneur, I spearheaded the launch and management of the global Masters of Scale Members Community, from the award-winning podcast show by Reid Hoffman. As a steward of this vibrant community, I curated initiatives worldwide, affording founders and leaders exclusive access to live shows, community events, and our groundbreaking daily learning app, covering pivotal entrepreneurial topics such as fundraising, mindset, branding, and culture. I had the privilege to moderate high-profile events with luminaries such as Bill Gates, Brian Chesky, Eric Schmidt, Satya Nadella, and Ariana Huffington, among others, for over 3,000 attendees. LinkedIn recognized it as one of the top communities in 2022.

Before that, I ventured into impact investing as the Institutional Development Director at New Ventures (an impact investing platform in LATAM), leading programs for social & environmental entrepreneurs, coordinating editorial projects, and facilitating impactful events, workshops, and investment talks for over 1,500 attendees.

I hold a degree in International Business and have honed my expertise through programs at Stanford, MIT, Harvard, Columbia Business School, ITESM, ITAM, LinkedIn, General Assembly, Carrie Melissa Jone’s Community Program, and Marie Forleo’s Business School.
